MPV’s Rollshop offers a wide range of submerged arc welding, cladding, and overlay materials that have been identified as the best performers in various operating conditions. The Rollshop specializes in the application of hard-face overlay welding by the open-arc process. This improves the service life of components that are subjected to any abnormal operating conditions by protecting them against heat sensitization impact wear, erosion, and corrosion. Components protected include those on crushers, and on railroad, earthmoving and agricultural equipment.
MPV's Rollshop manufactures and reconditions rolls for steel mills and sugar mills. The Rollshop also delivers services to various other mining industries in South Africa such as coal and cement mines. The Rollshop's services have been expanded to cater to certain on-site requirements.
It has achieved great success in improving the service life of various components such as those used in crushing equipment for all of the above industries. The shop specializes in the stripping, welding, and machining of various rolls and crusher tyres for the mining/crushing industry.

• Castor rolls - Mittal, Highveld, Columbus • Pot rolls - for galv lines at Mittal • Ring hammers
• Hot and cold mill rolls, such as run-out table rolls, pinch rolls, edger rolls, looper rolls, and all other specialised rolls
• Sinter crusher rolls (previous life +- 3 weeks, MPV extended to +- 6 weeks)
