Metal Protection Vaal is a multi-disciplinary organization that specializes in the management of contracts, taking care of every stage - from shop manufacturing, welding, and fabrication to final on-site commissioning.

MPV provides turnkey mechanical and engineering services to clients in the petrochemical, mining and industrial environments. 
The company’s scope of supply includes specialized welding, fabrication and construction of steel mill rolls; structural and plate work; mining equipment; chutes and pressurized equipment such as pressure piping; pressure vessels; tanks; heat exchangers and boilers. 
MPV was established by Pieter Schutte in 2000, after identifying a definite shortage in the Metallurgical industry for reliable and knowledgeable consultants and suppliers of specialized welding equipment and services.
